Fran Canning, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, is organzing a trip to Boston to see the hit Broadway show Avenue Q at the historic Colonial Theater in Boston.  The show is on Sunday March 16 at 7:30 but tickets are on sale with Dean Canning NOW!  Tickets are $36.50 and includes bus transportation to and from Concord. WHAT A DEAL!

The bus will leave at 3:30, so there will be plenty of time to get supper and walk around Boston before the show.  This is a great chance to get out of Concord for a fun night!  Tickets are limited so see Dean Canning before it's too late!

Avenue Q won three Tony Awards in 2004, including Best Musical.  The musical revolves around the efforts of several New York City pupppets to find the purpose for their lives.  This "ingenious combination of “The Real World” and “Sesame Street,” according to The New Yorker*,  "has so much to recommend it—an exceptionally gifted cast, a strong book by Jeff Whitty, with equally strong music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and the splendid direction of Jason Moore—that to focus on the highs in the production is rather like begging at a banquet when one’s plate and cup are full to overflowing."

* This review was written by Hilton Als and appeared in the August 11, 2003 issue of The New Yorker. For more information and reviews, visit the Avenue Q's website.
