Entertainment Law Society Hosts Music Business Discussion

The Entertainment Law Society will host attorney Kevin O'Shea of Sulloway & Hollis in the Board Room Thursday, November 6th at 6:15 PM. Prior to attending Pierce Law, Kevin spent more than a decade as a musical agent and manager. His clients included Emmy and Grammy nominated artists and his responsibilities included negotiating with record labels, nationally broadcast television programs and performing arts venues throughout North America.

Kevin continues to represent entertainment clients as part of his practice. In addition to maintaining a robust commercial litigation practice, Kevin has negotiated music licensing agreements, venue license agreements, performance agreements, celebrity endorsement agreements, and book publishing agreements for his clients. He also advises artists on entity formation and internet domain ownership issues.

Kevin is a frequent presenter to arts groups including the Arts Presenters of Northern New England and the North American Association of Irish Festivals. In his spare time, he serves on Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) Irish Festival.

Attendee's are encouraged to arrive promptly as space and refreshments are limited. The event is sponsored by the Pierce Law Student Bar Association.
