Pierce Law Groups Come Together to Celebrate Lunar New Year

The Chinese, Korean, and Tawianese Student Associations are working together to throw this year's Lunar New Year Celebration. The year of the Ox promises boundless opportunities for prosperity, so let's celebrate!

This is one of the most anticpated events of the year, as it is an unique opportunity to celebrate the rich cultures at Pierce Law and to taste some delicious authentic foods!

The party will start at 6:30 this Friday, January 30, in the Jury Box. There will be plenty of food, a demonstration of Korean matrial arts, Chinese dances, and a raffle. All students and faculty are invited.

These students have devoted hours preparing for this great event. Please let a member of one of the hosting groups know if you have a talent you'd like share or you would like to get involved with the group.

Pierce Law has been proud to train the IP professionals from Korea for decades. The Korean Students Association (KSA) was established to provide a vehicle for Korean students to share their customs, culture and traditions with the Pierce Law community. The KSA is also the organization that co-coordinates and sponsors the Lunar New Year celebration in which all Korean, Chinese, and Taiwanese students share their country's customs and their culinary delicacies and celebrate the start of the new year through music and dance.
