Weekend Fun in NH: Ice Skating

180px-DouglasEverettArena.jpgThe deep freeze in N.H. provides plenty of opportunities to break out those skates and get on the ice. The Everett Arena in Concord is a great indoor rink located on Loudon Road across the street from Outback Steakhouse and the Post Office.

Public skating is open Monday-Friday 11:30AM-1:00PM and Sundays 5:30-7:30. The cost is $5. They also rent skates for $4.

Hockey fans can also sharpen their skills at the arena. Hockey time is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 10-11:20am and Monday-Friday 3:30-4:45pm. The cost is $8 per person.

DON'T FORGET our neighbor, White's Park, has a wonderful frozen pond that is frozen and begging to be skated upon.
