Adjunct faculty member Dan Crean will be speaking at the International Municipal Lawyers Association Personnel Section workshop in Washington, DC. The workshop is held as part of IMLA's regular Mid-Year Seminar held each April in the Nation's Capital. Crean is vice-chair of IMLA's Personnel Section and his topic for the workshop is an Update on Prevention and Remedy of Sexual Harassment and Retaliation in the Public Workplace. In addition to teaching Environmental Law and Land Use Planning and Regulation at the Law Center, Dan has a municipal, environmental and administrative law practice in Pembroke.

Moot Court interest meeting 12:10-1PM in the Rich Room. During the
session they will cover available competitions, required classes, and the
application process. They will also be able to answer any moot court
questions that you may have.
Wednesday, April 22nd
Womens Law Student Association and Career Services: 12-1pm Room 200 for a discussion about summer internship and career expectations. Topics to be discussed include:
*The difference between formal business attire, casual business attire,
and courtroom attire, Appropriate demeanor in the workplace, How to assimilate into your place of employment, How to deal with difficult employers or situations respectfully,
and more.
Prof. Ann McCrackin will be moderating a national audio conference as part of BNA's Legal and Business Edge program from 1-2:30PM. The title of the audio conference is "The Patent Disclosure, Serves Different Roles for Different People with Different Viewpoints: Drafting the Specification to Cover All the Angles."
Knitting for the Needy - 12-1PM Faculty Lounge: Join Megan DeVorsey, Mary Sheffer, Ellen Lessard, Fran Canning and Priscilla Byfield, bring your lunch and needles to chat and knit. Don't know how to knit? Not a problem! We will teach you. All hats will be donated to the NH Coalition Against Homelessness, who run shelters across the state. Beautiful bulky weight yarn has been donated for law students by the Elegant Ewe on Main St.
